Skate Park in Izmir was awarded in the top three projects in "ARKITERA yearbook 2019" built category.

A continuous activity flow for skaters and BMX users was achieved through standard elements embedded in a curved geometry. Site elevations and water drainage levels were carefully studied and the park is designed as a natural extension of the existing landscape.

Double curved concrete surfaces were defined by a total of 169 wooden templets. Placement, annotation, documentation, and drawing of templets were achieved by computation using Python
script, Grasshopper, and Rhinoceros. The quantity survey for concrete elements, steel reinforcements, waste mold, and wooden templets were calculated through the 3D model produced similar to a BIM workflow.
