Since the disastrous 2023 Turkey & Syria Earthquake hit more than 7 cities of Turkey, including Malatya, the built environment has suffered a loss, leaving a great number of housing units unusable. The project mainly aims to create a new development area near the existing city pattern of Malatya that will be disaster resistant with its infrastructure and morphology.
