At SKAB, a core tenet of our design philosophy is that landscape architecture is no longer merely an aesthetic arrangement; it is data-driven, breathing infrastructure engineering.

The AirBubble project in Warsaw stands as one of the most powerful global testaments to the vision we advocate under "Innovation in Landscape."

Designing with "Natural Intelligence"

Readers of the SKAB Blog are well-acquainted with the concept of "Natural Intelligence." It is not about mimicking nature, but hybridizing its intelligence with technology. AirBubble sits exactly at this intersection.

Going beyond simply planting trees, this project actively purifies urban air through 52 glass bioreactors containing living algae cultures. This exemplifies the shift we aim for in our own designs: a transition from "passive green spaces" to "active solution-generating spaces."

Data-Driven Sustainability

Our persistence in using BIM and digital technologies at SKAB is rooted in the desire to achieve measurable results. AirBubble operates on a similar principle, utilizing sensors and data streams to monitor air quality in real-time.

This project demonstrates that the landscapes of the future will not only appeal to the eye but will also provide "intelligence" to the city through the data they generate.

Conclusion: The SKAB Trajectory

We believe that the landscape is not a background, but a vital organ of the city. Bio-digital examples like AirBubble validate why we place technology, parametric design, and innovation at the center of our practice.

As we design for the future, our route is clear: Processing the wisdom of nature with the power of the digital.
