Asst Prof Dr Structural Engineer

Fatih is a structural engineer specializing in innovative seismic protection technologies. He has a PhD degree from Tohoku University- Japan where he has extensively studied about structural seismic simulations. He also worked in Tokyo Institute of Technology as a specially appointed professor for 2 years where he has been involved in international research projects with experimental applications.

Currently Fatih is an Assistant Professor in Istanbul Technical University, Earthquake Engineering and Disaster Management Institute where he keeps research and teaching about structural design, seismic isolation and structural dampers, experimentally and numerically. Fatih is co-author of 3 academic books and more than 50 scientific papers
