The objective of the project was to design a new bridge over Kızılırmak(Red River) and to plan the surrounding landscape. Surroundings included promenades on both sides of the river, shops, and a cultural center. Contrasting with the old bridge which was still active, the new bridge was designed without any abutments, and instead with an elegant arch. Changing the thickness of the arch and K-beams with varying sizes were modeled in consultation with the engineering team.
